xlib. The top and bottom of the spine and corners are very lightly bumped and rubbed. Inside the book is both clean and tight. Dust jacket in mylar, the top and the bottom of the spine have little creases and the top has an 1/8" closed tear. Jacket is not clipped. 115 pages. 12 year old Giles Willis has a lot of trouble understanding his new foster family. This book is a story about how Giles wins a spot for his foster brother's band and a spot for himself as a permanent member of the family. This is a Jr . Literary Guild selection, chosen as an outstanding book for boys and girls (A Group)

The former owner's name is inside on the front free page, the same page has a tan stain about one inch wide and 6 inches long running down the edge of the hinge (looks as if a piece of newsprint was used as a bookmark). The book is otherwise both clean and tight, inside and out. The dust jacket has a soiled spine and the top and bottom edges have multiple small tears . The jacket is not price clipped . This book explains how to help children and youth feel that they belong to the fellowship of the church.
